Hi, I’m Rebecca; the face behind Rebecca’s Horses And Hounds.
I’m a farmer’s daughter from Haltwhistle, Northumberland, with a lifetime of hands-on animal experience and a foundation degree in Equine Management, Training & Coaching.
I provide dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting and horse care, offering calm, reliable care that works around each animal’s routine. I visit animals in their own homes/yards to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible.
I cover Brampton, Haltwhistle, Bardon Mill, Haydon Bridge, Hexham and surrounding areas. My approach is friendly, practical and honest. Animal welfare always comes first.
My Story
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've spent the past 6 years of my life working with horses as well as having my own, gaining hands-on experience and building a career around something I've always loved. However over time, I found myself ready for a change; something that has a bit more variety, flexibility and freedom.
I've always loved working outdoors (whatever the weather) and being around animals has never felt like work to me. So, I decided to take the leap of faith and start "Rebecca's Horses And Hounds".
This business allows me to do what I enjoy most: caring for animals, working outside and offering calm, reliable support to owners who want their animals looked after properly. It's been a big step, but it's one that feels like the right fit, and I can't wait to keep growing from here.
